Laurel Burl / Koa & More

Here's one that I'll start spraying tomorrow. Laurel Burl on Koa. Below that are some that are in the middle of spraying. Ross's replacement for the cue I cut in half. Plain Jane Amboyna and a Plain Jane Bocote. The Amboyna and the Bocote are available. Others are not.

Will have photos of a few more tomorrow or Friday. Just a few Inlays to finish up.

You sure did a nice job on the Koa cue.

Do you like it? Did it work easily?

Ken

Thanks. Koa's not bad. I've used it several times before. The challenge was inlaying into the Burl. That is not very forgiving. Any screw-ups are going to be magnified 1000x.

The Laurel on Koa is great, and I think Ross' cue may look even better this time around!

Nice work you did there Tony, your choice of wood is great. Love the figuring on the Koa and Amboyna

Tony's Cues play jam up

Can't believe that Roscoes new Cue is done before mine:mad:
That Koa looks very nice and Koa plays jam up:yes:
Jhun, buy this nice Amboyna Cue you can't go wrong with it:grin:
mine are in the works:wink:

Is it tomorrow yet?

Calm down. Yours is coming. Thursday I had some things break. Friday I have both of the kids. I am only allowed to work one weekend day, per my arrangement with my wife. It has been Saturday, but apparently I don't have a say as to which day it is. This weekend, it's today.

Maybe tonight if I'm finished up early enough.

No troubles, didn't mean to hit a nerve.:grin-square:
Sounds like you have all the frustration you can carry around for the time being...
I'll look forward to tomorrow another day (and use 2 grins this time).
:grin::grin:

No nerve hit. Was just letting you know what's going on. Wasn't trying to give you a hard time or anything.

Ross is actually right for once. He will get his cue this week. Now that it's posted on the internet, it has to be true.

I still think it turned out even better this time, Ross. Really great.
Glad for you.
