Update on the Des Moines pool scene

I was there playing on another table for about 3 hours of that match. Pet cataloged the entire bout to me and I have to say he repeated it so many times, I think it is drilled in his memory.

Reminded me of when a guy gets hammered but can tell you quantity and type of everything they drank all night. They usually will do this several times over the course of a night. That's what that post reminded me of...2 vodka red bulls, 3 yager bombs, 4 shots of jack etc.....

Usually I can only tell someone whether I won or lost...and that is only because I have more or less money in my pocket than I started with.

I know what you mean lol. I do that with my everyday life though. Everytime I open my wallet I feel like I am short for a split second, then I remember the soda from the vending machine or the bandit burrito at lunch. My memory with gambling usually is like a Madden Highlight reel. I remember the big plays but everything else normally blurs together.
 
sounds like he played really well.

I can recall every shot of a 68 I shot. I mean whether or not I hit the fairway, if I hit the green, about how long the birdie putt was, or where I got up and down from, where the pins (holes) were on each of the holes that day, etc. etc. etc. BTW, that was in 07, and I haven't broke 70 since...that could be why I remember it so well. For some people, how they got there is just as important as the end result....it's how I learn and try to improve. For the record, that round made me work more on my right to left putts, and my downhill putts, and while I still haven't beaten the end result, my overall game is better in those areas. :smile:

so, someone recalling with that amount of detail how they played....I get it.

Rusty did you just admit to being a scratch golfer??? Online at that...no Rusty you are gonna knock your own hustle. I was looking to stake you next summer too, now you went and ruined it.

I'm on tilt...gonna bust marcusdk1 before I leave this table...shoving about $28 with nines like they are aces. Nice two outer to crack my kings...I aint hating...just saying.

He breaks comes up dry I put a 3 pack on him, I break again dry he cant get out I win that game up 9 now, I put another 3 pack on, up 12 now, break didnt run out but i win the game,at the end 16 was total, still think u can win come get some my name is chungli a.k.a SUPERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a good memory pet, I can't remember if ran the last rack. Thats pretty good shootin, got me scared.

no one was at Stix last night. we got done about 9:05pm. played amongst our selves. fun yet non-eventful! trash talking w/ my brother is not that exciting unless you are him or I! lol

Oh, btw Pet, nice going beating my brother. just a little side note... good job of taking advantage of a drunk!!! :thud:He didn't even remember playing against you! Unlike you, his memory gets a little foggy after a dozen captain/cokes!

Did your brother remember me trying to give him a ride home because he was more drunk than I've ever seen him and all he kept talking about was driving home? I'm glad his buddy came and got him, cuz he was lit the hell up! He wanted to play 8 ball for drinks, by the game! Yes a drink a game, Im just happy to hear he's okay, I really was a bit worried about him.

No Pet, you are a dick! You have no class! And NO, you are not in my head! I think you are suffering from "Small Man Syndrome"! You have to talk shit in order to feel bigger in this world. Runnin your mouth doesn't make you a better or BIGGER man!!

OK guys fight nice. I disagree with the shit talk on both sides of this thing. Settle it on the table or don't play anymore. Always gonna be a bad idea to rub someone's face in a loss especially after playing for over 9 hours. Also always a bad idea to insult someone over genetics. Coming from me, might not mean a whole lot, but I'm just sayin.....
