Does anyone of my az brothers know where I can purchase a nine ball from the aramith Great Shark set. My set was a gift from my daughter and of course don't want to purchase a complete set. The above mentioned ball has a chip in it about the size of a large bb. Didn't think this was possible with aramith. Thanks for your help.

You are the only other person who I have heard complain of this problem. I have an Aramith set and the 5 ball developed a chip about the same size. I took it back to the store where i purchaced it and was told that Aramith would not replace it and that the store would not stand behind it either.

My table is on carpeting and unless one of my sons threw it against a brick wall while I wasn't around, I can only assume that the chip was caused by a collision with another ball .

Super Aramith Pro set.

Super Aramith Pro set. I bought a set a few months ago that was used once in a tournament. Looked brand new. The 2(?) ball had a crack about .25" at the outer edge of the white circle around the number. It was roughly in the shape of a crescent and looked like it would fall out soon. The seller replaced it. I've seen an old set of commercially used Brunswick Centennials probably around 15-20 years old where the number fell out of the one ball along with some of the white circle and black ring.. Probably nine ball breaks.

Buy a few other CB's. Get a Measle, or a measle that Koinkid is selling for $15shipped. I bought 2 and there is not enough difference to really notice.

It is good to have a few extra to use for just practicing shooting a cue ball.
I don't like hitting the other balls with the cue tip as the chalk will scuff them.
