I'm no statistics genius but I used to use this stuff in my work. I think Cleary's rankings would fit perfectly in this curve. It would go ,from left to right, D,C,B,A,Open, Pro. The Open players would fit in the yellow area on the right and the Pros would be in the white area to the right of that.
I only brought this up graphically illustrate how the distribution of skills generally are spread out. The shape of the curve would be somewhat different for pool skills but would be in some bell shape.
As an aside , if you were a bar/pool room owner ,which color would you market to?
