Does anyone know Jeremy Cantrell, aka. "Worm" from North Georgia?

He owed me $615 for about 4 months.

He works at Wal-Mart but he walks around with $10K+ in his pocket due to being a low level drug dealer. He doesn't have a checking account, any credit, drives a $500 car, and dresses in rags, but he carries around every single cent to his name, lol.



Thoughts? Advice?

Sorry you got burned dude(the guy deserves whatever you give'em), but maybe loaning money to drug dealers that hide in a beat up car with no checking account and work at walmart should be a RED flag that you don't loan those people money

I didn't think I was loaning it to him. At every card game he would get on the books and then pay what he owed if he lost. Paid every time for 3+ years at multiple card games every week. This particular time he went to his car (eveyone assumed to get money) and then he just left. Since I was "the house" I had to make it good.

Either way, he not only burned a bridge in me but in anyone I can pursuade not to deal with him.

gotcha, thats a pretty s**t deal...had something similar happen to me, guy i knew that i trusted for 5yrs stayed with me for a week and when I went to work stole my gals laptop and all my cd's....your guys just probably gettin off on his own stash now and is broke as a joke.

Also, I realize that you bump your thread or post about Southpaw everytime I post about someone owing me money, but just because he's a friend of mine and owes you $50 has nothing to do with me.

The least you could do is ask the guy if he is ever going to pay off.

If it was my buddy, I would have no problem asking him what happened. But then again I dont hang around deadbeat gamblers.

It's not like I talk to him all the time or anything. I only see him when I go to tourneys or something. Trust me, he knows my feelings and he has said when he gets back on his feet he's gonna make things right.

In any case, his nor anyone elses bets are my responsibility.

I'm not laughing at his parents as they may be good people, but I'm laughing at the fact that he brags about carrying 10-15K around and he can't even help his parents out when their house is under forclosure, lol.
