2000.00 9-ball race to 9 dec 12th 13th quincy il

Stretching it to 2 days

thank you for the good coments. thier was a few reasons why i changed a few things. i also changed the starting time. i started it 1 hour later (because some people drive a long way gives them a chance to make it) also we have not filled up either (because it was on the same date as a close tournaments)so i think that we might fill up to around 64 players and if that happens it will be 2 days anyway so rather then try to hurry or push it to get done in 1 day we know what to exspect (if we fill up)the ones that are over for the 2cd day we be in the cash so hopefully the cash they win will take care of any inconvenience they may have :smile::smile: but iam just learning on what works and what to do. and trying to make all happy and thats hard to do thanks again

Sure hope that if you do have to extend it to a 2nd day the only one's coming back will be in the serious cash, enough to cover the extra $50 bucks for a room. LIKE THE TOP 4 PLAYERS? I am thinking you will get 40-50.

I will bring a self addressed stamped envelope

we will try to push as hard as we can love to see it fill up 64 ???????

If I cannot find a decent player to STAKE I will probably come up for the player auction based on the last tourney. Nate Stone came in 4th place? must play a little bit.

Will see if Dustin and some of his buddies from St Charles want to head up that way. Bump to the TOP.

Tourney needs a push to the top

This tournament needs to be on the front page of the Forum until it occurs. Sammie when are Crump and Stone playing again. Crump says he cant play in the tourney and play Stone at the same time.

anyone can play

bump................

Why drive to Columbia Missouri for an amature event when you can play with the big boys in Quincy Illinois for MORE money.

1st place in the last tourney $3000 plus, screw the trophy.
Trophies are for kids.

Player Auction at 12:30?

i think that even if i make it a race to 7 on the loser side and we get any more then we had the last time (34) it will be a 2 day event ....Did you see i changed the cal-cutta time to noon and play at 1:00 for guy like you give you a little more sleep and i think we may get a few more players that way also but we will see
Player Auction starts at NOON? What happened to 12:30?

i say noon so that you pool players will be by 12:30 when the cal-cutta starts . you know how thats works

Might have to drive the truck instead of the car for this one.??

Will know for sure after Thursday. If the goof ball weather man is right?

Bump to the TOP

Head on over

how many are signed up ? i may just make the trip.

Sammie is ADDING 1000 bucks per 32 player and prorating the 2nd 32 for a 2nd 1000 bucks.

Hell I might even play. It is a great tounament 3000 for 1st with the auction. If that is NOT enough? Stay in Indianapolis? Or INdiana?:embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2:

PDF or other flyer

I would like to see a flyer, with full details, for the tournament.

I have attended two of your tournaments. The payouts were based on 64 players. There were never 64 players, maybe 32.
To see $1000 added for 32 players would be nice.

32 players on 8 tables playing a race to 7or9 is an all day event, starting early.

Let me see it in writing.

This seems to be the popular sentiment, and I completely understand why Don and others are choosing the Quincy tourney over the Columbia one. It's just a shame that these two tournaments are happening on the same weekend. I'm sure whoever snaps off the Columbia tourney will be pretty pleased with the $2k (assuming a full field) that goes along with the trophy, though.

Best of luck all who are playing in Quincy. It sounds like a real fun tourney.

Too bad the Columbia tournament is not on the weekend of the 19th.
We just had a State 8 ball tournament at Teacher's in St Peter's Mo, last month. Round Robin, with 60 something players. You get to PLAY ALOT. Round Robin. Make it to the finals and play all day on Sunday.

Quincy most likely be a one day event with the 12 inches of snow headed their way tomorrow? But, it might miss them>?

Hell Crump might change his mind and go to Millersburg and play in that event with the 10 other guys NOT playing in Quincy or Columbia?:eek::eek::eek::eek:
