I was thinking of Art today, so I grabbed the camera and snapped a few.
Here are cues from 2 of my buddies..
Can't get much better then EBY/EBY Peacock cues..

Two friends side by side

I know that Barry and Art were really close friends and both masters in the art of cuemaking. This picture of the two cues side by side instantly show this. I took a quick glance and chuckled when I saw that the Art Cantando cue was a little thinner than the Barry Szamboti... almost as if the two cuemakers were side by side.

Still upset that I never reached out to Art in the early days and ask him to make me a cue. I know all his cues will forever show a little piece of his greatness.

Does anyone know if Art ever made a Rosewood on Rosewood cue? Please post pics and if one is out there please send me a IM... I'm interested in having two friends side by side as well.

Nice Pieces of History and some treasures to be cherished for a lifetime.
The pair really compliment each other very well and are outstanding pieces.
Cannot wait for the SBE to see the cues in person (if they make it to SBE).

Economy is tough for all but I pray that this year some of the vendors do better compared to the last two years or the event will get smaller.
For me, I am lucky to be able to drive up with 3-4 hours and spend time with all my friends.
Hope you are doing well.
