Below is a link to the photos I took at the 12th Annual - Derby City Classic.
My Buddy Curtis and I were there for the Banks and the start of the One-Pocket.
You will need Flash installed; Select Galleries --> Tournaments --> Derby City Classic

This was my first time taking a camera to an event of this size. The photos are not professional quality, but I'm very happy with them.

If there are any players who want their photos taken off my site, please let me know so I can remove them.
Thanks, Mark

It was a blast. Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next year?
Thanks, Mark

Nice job Mark.. I also got to enjoy the first event of the tourney and enjoyed it very much. I was lucky to play Efren and Rodney Morris both. What an honor, I was even fortunate enough to beat Rodney but Efren had other plans, rats.

I sent you a PM as to a couple of the names you were missing. Rep for you!

Peace, Joey K

Nice!

Great pictures, thanks for posting.
I need to get there one of these years!

MOJO,
Thanks for the names. I found some other pictures online to confirm that both names you provided were right on the money. While online, I found one on my own; Brian Gregg. I zoomed in on back of his shirt and found the cuemaker who sponsors him for the connection. The only one I missing is the guy who's playing Alex on Page 2.
Thanks, Mark

Nice pics! Can't wait to get down there on Thursday!
That's Sparky Ferrell playing with Alex.

thanks

Hi POPEYE; Yes it is a blast, i been couple times. thanks for photo--i did not get to go this yr, sickness in familey, but thanks again STICK:grin-square:

Very nice pics - I hope to go next year myself.

The guy on page two playing Alex looks like Sparky Farrell - he's the guy that one the Music City Open right before Derby.

Great! I will update Sparky Farrell's name. Eveyone is now accounted for.
Thanks, Mark

mahalo's

Thanks for the pictures Mark! they really mean a lot to guys like me who aren't lucky enough to make it out there.

What kind of tip is on Rodney's cue? It's all black!! it doesn't look like he's breaking so it can't be a break cue. Is it?

Looks weird to me. Maybe a new kind of tip ferrule combo?

thanks again

Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I'm set to got to BCA (Vegas) for Singles & Team. I hope to take some more shots at the big 10-ball event and gain some more autographs for my old cue which will be sealed/finished and displayed in my pool room. I got about 10 autographs in DCC. I would have got more, but it was a pain in A$$ to carry a camera on one hip and my case on the other, but its was well worth it after reading all your replies.
Cheers, Mark
