You have no clue....The US guys played a wonderful game ....Johny thin cutted the two ball down the whole table @ 6:6 race to 7 matchball for the shootout......That was the best shot of this tournament....

through the camera angle the ball looks much easier, than it is, especially under that pressure...
i think, for the players it's a lt of thrill and great fun. and the crowd loves it!

It is a big wide world out there. Who would have believed you could get players to play at the highest level from the Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan. There are now 14000 Billiard clubs in Beijing (and 9 million bicycles)

14,000 clubs in Beijng? Wow I live here and hadn't heard that. I now there are about 30 in Xiamen of significance. Where are you getting those numbers?

There are some powerful players here though. In Xiamen they just opened a new club and poured something like 1.2 million US into it. Fu Jin Bo is the house pro.

Was watching him practice last week and he is running out like water. I walk over to the table and it's triple shimmed 4" pockets. I don't think I could have dropped a ball in those pockets with my hand much less shot a ball into them.

Liu Sha Sha (I think) is a 16 year old who just won the world championships after being down 5:1 in a race to nine against Karen Corr. She put a six pack on Karen. A legitimate balls to the wall from the break six pack.

Xiamen is littered with players who can run out, a lot of Taiwanese "pros" settle here to coach and be house pros.

As a result the Chinese are getting very good.
