Various wrap install times?

It takes about the same amount of time to do linen or leather wraps.
1 to 2 hours at the most.

I spend about 20 minutes on a linen wrap unless I'm in a hurry. Leather takes me around 1.5 hrs. and sometimes longer.

I'm just about the same as Dick. I only do a few leather wraps a year, so each time is like starting over...JER

I'm right in line with Dick on linen and leather.
Now I think I have the record time on my first stack leather wrap I did.
Just a little over 3 hours.

you can prob do leather faster then 1.5 but its not worth it. i usually lay my glue and do something else for a while then revisit whenever. actually funny story one time i finished the entire wrap. i pulled the tape off and all the black came off with it. i wasnt happy :yikes:

ive had that happen too,i think about 3 hrs for stack wrap but i charge $150.00 compared to $100,00 for regular leather.I had 1 this wk with real deep wrap groove so used stack,lot of extra work to build up groove for leather,customer was happy

Dick pretty much nailed it...

Both can be done faster than that, but the times he gives are pretty much dead on for a nice careful (quality) job.
