PM's

For those of you PM'd me in the last few days, please check your inboxes.

Thanks :)

No access to a digital scale ...

nice weight SW cue.
May I know weight for each butt and both shafts.
Thanks..

my2564,

I'd love to be able to tell you, I don't have access to the type of scale that would be accurate enough (kitchen scale weighs each shaft around 4-1/8) or going to a high enough weight (an acquaintance loaned me a "hand scale" that showed in excess of it's 4oz limit for each shaft)

As such, I'd easily state that each shaft is 4oz and the butt is 14.75. But, I have to be clear that I do not have access to a digital scale (all the post office locations that I've visited have their scales behind the counter [thanks to 12squared for that idea]).

PM's

I have played with this cue and besides the fact that it looks great up close, the cue is a phenominal player,
and the cue is in imaculate condition...dead straight.

To address the PM's about the cue's straightness, I had mentioned only in an earlier post that all segments roll straight; apart and together.
One shaft is 100% true and the other I would call 99%+ but has the slightest taper roll. It's there, but even those with very discriminating views don't seem to notice. It does not affect playability in any way.

The next owner will be pleased, if not thrilled with this cue.

I looked this cue over again last night and it is perfect. Full shafts, great balance. Priced right. I'm surprised it's still around.

That's SIR Prize to you !!!

Me too, Doug.

The cue is only lightly played. The price couldn't be better for someone who wants a pretty, light weight SouthWest with 2 full, original shafts.

I hope that the new home this cue gets, it has a big yard to run and play in and kids to scratch it behind it's ven"eers".
In all seriousness, the new owner will be a happy camper.

I'd like to see Ivan sell his cue. If the 0 Itrader is a problem, I'm more than happy to sell the cue for him. If my Itrader is not good enough, perhaps speaking with fourkingscues (kenny) will convince you....I recently sold him a Hercek, 3 Schicks, and a B. Szamboti with no problems.

I truly feel that the cue is a good buy at $2,250. It is in super condition and truly unique at 18.7 ounces. Paypal is making the deal difficult because of the high fees involved. I'd be happy to take cashiers check or money order on Ivan's behalf and see that the cue is properly shipped. Shipping probably will run under $50 fully insured. I would also offer up my 2x4 It's George for and extra $190 to ship it in (see for sale forum).

Regards,

Doug
