If JR is reading this PM me

Thanks

They're alive and well, but i did notice that this month's mag was very thin,,,,not even 50 pages,,,,,,,,,,

well i got a call yesterday and someone left me a message that my subscription has run out. if fact it ran out a year or so ago. not gonna bash them. not !

why would i want 30 pages of adds and pay them to send it very late !

they suck now ! usta be alot better.

IPM if you read this there is alot of history you could write about to fill up your magazine some.

ya know what i mean ?

IP has been declining. I wish they would write some historical stuff plus go back to the "What's in the case" section. It's a shame.

Well, my subscription would have run out some months ago - if I had ever gotten even one issue. The last communication was from october, promising delivery starting in november. I have yet to receive any issue, be it november, december, january or february...

Best regards,

Detlev

Looks like they are set up at SBE again to take in people's money who feel like rolling dice on whether they will ever see a subscription or not.

I can't speak to not receiving issues but I do know that the editor (not JR) has had some medical things going on and undergone a few surgeries. She's currently recovering so that may have something to do with the lack of content the past month or so. I don't know for sure because I am not an employee, I only do contract work for them, but I don't think you have to worry about them going under.

my sympathies go out to anyone having any surgeries but...........

they ARE obligated to the subscribers #1. and do they want to keep a fan base happy ? or not ?

My thoughts exactly.
I had subsciptions in the past and never had a problem. That said, what is happening and has been happening for the past couple of years makes me think some people just hate their money.

I have not received the Dec or Jan issue. Just got the Feb, very thin. Called and left a message and got no return. Wish that I didn't extend my subscription for another year. On the bright side it was only for a year and not for the 3 year deal to "save' $4. ($56 for 3 and $20 for a year).

I'd hope their operations are more developed than to let the editor's illness set them so far behind.

I signed up last year at sbe and didn't get my first issue until September, nearly six months after vf ended. I want to support the publishers but on the fence based on last years experience.

Good info

My story is I paid for the vendor package of 10 mags a month to resale them and I would not get the mag until the 26 th of each month. This went on for a few months always being told how it would be fixed the next month
The free download came out before I would have my mags. So i cancelled and they agreeed to mail me a check and that was Early Jan 2010

I like IP and just wanted to ask if someone new what was going on
Thanks for all the info fellow pool players.........

:smile::smile::smile::smile:

I've been a subscriber for about 5 years and never had a problem until recently. Never received the December or January issues, but I did receive the February issue on the 12th which was shocking because I think it's the first time I ever received Inside Pool before Billiards Digest and Pool & Billiard.

IP has been on the decline for several years. They have had their ups and downs like most small companies. You can check past articals on AZB regarding the trials of IP to get a better hand on what may be the real real reason behind their dwindeling decline.;)

Either I'm lucky, or I'm on the road too much to notice, but I've never had a problem with my subscription.
I spoke with Donna recently and it sounds like there's going to be more improvements from the past.
shrug.
I still like 'em just fine, but adding more to it can't hurt anyone:thumbup:
