With a little luck I'll be calling to get added to the list along with a couple of other players before heading to SBE

The place is good, the tables are clean and the food is great!
And a 24/hour poolhall a few minutes away that kept us up just a bit later than planned last time I was out there....lol


Hope to see a great turnout for this one as well, since the last one was full of great players.

I can smell good food cooking from here........:wink:
Hopefully I'll be done with the poolroom by then so I can load up and get down there, I'll let you know before then.

Tables have just been recovered with Simonis 860. Really fast track. Pushing 39 entries at the moment. Scotty Townsend called and will be here for revenge against Tre' Baker, last tourney Winner. Jamie Farrell and lot's of shortstops signed up.
 
I'm getting excited!! This is gonna be a great event!!

What is your status on this one? Are you going? Have you checked with Grey Ghost to see if he is going so you can tag along with him. Just wouldn't be right without our horse there both on the table and in the booth! I'd love to see you snap this one off :yes:.

well greyghost has to work that weekend so its a know go on that ride

an another know go is i have no money we moving in with my brother so he can help with my mom so we in the process of doing that atm

i wanna go i am able to go moms feelin 100% better

so as for ride an money i whont have it but you never know 12 days is a long time away lol

Your kindness is second to none! I can haul The AZ Horse in, but after I am going on to Pennsylvania. Maybe we should send him to Valley Forge too! :shocked:

Two things that I haven't seen mentioned that are special to New Orleans and The Big Easy is their food and their Calcutta.

The players auction off at some respectable numbers, as everyone thinks they have a chance to come in the money and they do.

It's a popular event and the live streaming makes it even more popular.

I'm not sure if the participants realize that they could set up their computers for their relatives or friends and leave some instructions for what time they can visit the live stream and watch them play. Maybe have the Link set up on their desktop so someone can just click on the link and start watching the stream. Some instructions on how to hook up with the chat is pretty cool if you can trust everyone using your computer.

I might start doing something like this for Facebook so family and friends can keep up with my pool excursions. I'd probably leave a few instructions about link and how to join the chat on their computer.

Just a thought. Facebook is HUGE and others might jump on the bandwagon as well.

i think i mentiond the food wich is Awsome RibEyes are Da Bomb :P Calcutta was Awsome too they know how to do everything 1st class you cannot miss this tournament

Entry Fee is $50. Green Fee is $20 for a total of $70. The $20 Green Fee is put back into the Tournament with the Entry Fee. So if we have 64 players the total tournament money is (70 x 64) =$4480. Plus 2 Calcutta's. Tables will be open for tournament (no quarters)
 
Just called ~ Players meeting starts around Noon and play starts @ approximately 2PM CST.
