Anything going in or near Tulsa this weekend? What are some pool rooms or bars to play?

My buddy is going to be stuck there until monday and called wondering what to do. He is a banger but loves bar tournaments and smaller pool room tournaments.

Any information I can pass to him would be appreciated even if its just something or some place for him to check out.

You seem to have a lot of buddies going to different cities. A couple days ago a friend was moving to Tucson, now your buddy is going to Tulsa for a weekend. Are you sure that your not just on some road trip? LOL

Friend is still moving and I hate it. Not only is she a friend but she works with me and is very good. I will lose alot when she moves in two weeks.

Whats up with Tucson? Do the pool players there not get internet?



BTW-- one buddy of mine is a trucker... from time to time he gets stuck and needs something to do. I have found very very good information on here from guys and gals like yourself. AZ connections are all over in big cities and small towns. Very cool.

I don't think there is a tournament this weekend, it is the last Saturday of the month. I am totally busy tomorrow, otherwise I would come up there and hang out with you.

I know there are tons of guys who would love to hit some, but be careful of who you ask. Bill Enright (garczar) should be up there, he runs the cigar bar, and there should be a couple other AZer's there. Go to the counter and ask the Chinese guy, (John Tsien) to find you a friendly game and tell him Sung sent you. He will make sure you don't get eaten by the wolves.

Yep....there is a big tournament this weekend in Muskogee...Starts Saturday at Noon......Sooner State Games 8ball bar table tourney

Feb 27th Sooner State Games @ All American Billiards-Muskogee...behind Curts Mall on Shawnee and N York Street

Mens Tourn & a Womens Tourn.---Everyone is eligible to play
this is held at all american billiards in muskogee. it is a great place to compete
you need not belong to ANY league in order to play and the top 3 players in this event
become the open singles,gold,silver & bronze medal winners for the state of oklahoma
Winter 2010 billiard games.

Tucson9ball is a good source for geographic information. He's spent his entire adult life working for the postal system. He has access to every zip code code of every pool room in the country. Don't expect him to help you get your mail on time though.
