ive never used a lyptus shaft......

stiff like purpleheart , but lighter than maple
for a typical pool cue 29" shaft, they run about 1/4 to 1/2 oz. lighter than maple

Yeah, I bought him one because he went crazy when he saw mine. He loved it so much that I was afraid he might borrow it and I'm sure he would have never have wanted to return it. LOL

P.S. He's helped my game so much that he deserved a nice present and on a selfish note, I'm sure he will master using the cue and give me some tips!
