Any tournaments around the Middle GA area?

Are there any tournaments around the Middle Georgia area, besides the big monthly tournament held at the Hole Thang in Macon? I heard the tournament I played in occasionally in Athens ended so I'd like to have something to do occasionally during the week. I normally have league play on Wednesday and Thursday and work most weekends so I'd like to have some idea of what else is going on during the week.

I dont know about Macon but you could come down to Albany on the first weekend of the month and play at Breaktime Billiards and pub. I believe they add 500.00. or you can try Shooters i believe in Columbus, GA.

Albany Tournament

Thanks for the referral Travis! We have our monthly tournament in Albany, GA the first weekend of every month. Our next tournament is February 6, 2010. The entry fee is $40 with $500 added to the prize fund. We typically have a nice turnout and a good field of players, such as Scotty Townsend, Stoney Stone, Jesse Middlebrooks, Benny "The Goose" Conway, Jr., Randy Jordan, and some of our local favorites, Chad Royal, Travis Summers, Joey Tucker, Ed Pope, and many more. If you have any questions about this tournament, please call Lindsey at 229-344-5377. And the day of the tournament you can just call the pool room for info, the number there is 229-903-9997, and just ask for Lindsey! Hope to see you guys in February! The Tournament will start no later than 4:00p.m. Please try to be there by 3:00 to register. It will make my life much easier!
THANKS,
Lindsey

You've got that right! :D
I drew Chad Royal in the first round of the tournament at the Hole Thang and he whipped me like a mule! It sounds like this tournament is pretty stacked. I'm looking for a tournament with driving range of Milledgeville or Sandersville. They stopped the Thursday night 9 ball tournament at Lucky Dawg Billiards in Athens so the only one left there is 8 ball on Sundays.

The Great Southern Billiard Tour will be at The POOL Room in Duluth, GA March 27-28 and will also be at Classic Billiards in Conyers, GA on April 10-11.

We hope to see you soon!

That sounds like it will be a great tournament. If my plans to go to Atlanta to see my aunt and uncle had not fallen through,I would definitely hit that stop up. It's a long drive though for just a day or two stay and I'm nowhere near the skill level of most of the players who will play in the tournament. What's the entry fee btw?
