3C Drills on Pool Table????

A friend of mine is starting to take a real interest in 3C. I actually caught him practicing by himself yesterday. He has a pool table at home and he asked me what he could do to practice there.

About the only thing I could think of is practice caroms and play some English Billiards.

Any suggestions?

It's possible to get pocket blocks for pool tables. I think a mechanic who could make custom ones was mentioned here a little while ago.

The February issue of Billiards Digest describes how to play English Billiards on a pool table. I think EB will help your friend to learn the natural angles.
