PERFECT AIM REVIEW AND DISCUSSIONS BY AZers, for AZers

I haven't gotten the DVD or talked to Gene, but I play pool regularly with a very good player who learned a lot from Gene about 10 or so years ago. A few months ago he started helping me with my game, and he taught me some tricks with my eyes which *immediately* made me much better at long cuts, and a few other things which fixed a vast amount of my problems. After reading these threads, I asked him if he had gotten that stuff from Gene, and he said he had. It's not a magic pill, but now when I miss shots, I know exactly why I missed them, and my game is starting to improve after being mired in a year or two of suck. I'm assuming that a lot of that is in his perfect aim thing, and if it is it would definitely be worth it.

As a younger guy in college, I don't have many people to play pool with - I'm currently running away with our pool league on campus for the third semester running, so it's been hard to get much feedback. But just about an hour of advice drastically improved my game in a short amount of time. There really isn't much pool outside of the bars around here - I'm sure Gene knows what the pool scene in the Eau Claire area is like, and I'm a poor college student who can't afford to drive to the cities to play pool :P (And I have no interest in barbox 8 ball)

You know, Gene must be a SAINT. He gets scores of people who say they have been helped by Perfect Aim and one or two who didn't get it or didn't think it was much help and the guy still sits there, knowing and wanting to help those critics who either already know it or don't understand it and is as nice to them as a man can be.

Gene is even nice to Cocobolo Cowboy who has not been very nice. :nono:

I think I'm learning lessons of life (other than pool) from Gene by the way he handles criticism.

Gene: You continue to show why people should be very glad that you are on this forum. (Do you have any more pool tips (other than Perfect Aim) to share FREE OF CHARGE?) Maybe you are too busy right now but as opportunity presents itself, I hope you will chime in on new important topics that can improve a player's game.

JoeyA, when Gene was at my house, and we were talking about his system, you can see just how passionate he is about it. And it really bothers him when someone is having a hard time understanding it. He has come up with better ways to help with the understanding of it, but he said he would keep looking for even more. He is pretty limited with his arm in a sling, but he still has the illness like the rest of us, so he was doing some sporty one handed shooting. He has some great road stories when you get him going.(lol)

Caliber of pool was up at geno's saloon......

hi there,

those were the days. I had that night club in chippewa falls for about 13 years. It was in the 90's that i started showing perfect aim to players around me. I didn't call it anything except my little aiming lesson.

I would go to a little tourny where first was maybe 250 and when it was done i'd have 6 to 8 players lined up for my lesson. At 50 it was a deal and everyone was really happy with what they learned.

But the most fun i had was teaching this to all my customers and watching them get better. It was fun sometimes i would work with someone that played alot but didn't know this. Once they got the hang of perfect aim they would chew up a couple of players they couldn't beat before.

One year i had an 8-ball last pocket tournament every sunday. Most of the bars in town were closed. It was a race to one double elimination. We averaged 80 to 100 players. I'd put out food for everyone. That was the place to play pool.

Geno's saloon. Downtown chippewa falls, wisconsin.

Busted a few road players also. I think the last one was a guy called gracek from michigan. We played for 3 days.

I FORGOT THIS PART. MANY OF THESE PLAYERS THAT I BEAT BACK THEN, WE WOULD SEE THEIR PICTURES ON THE FRONT OF SOME POOL MAGAZINE. THIS GUY WAS NO EXCEPTION. HE HAD WON LIKE 3 OR 4 TOURNAMENTS IN A ROW. I THINK IT WAS POOL AND BILLIARD MAGAZINE BACK THEN. FRONT PAGE.

A FRIEND OF MINE RIGGED UP A CHAIR FOR ME. HE HAD INSTALLED A SEAT BELT ON IT. HIS IDEA WAS TO STRAP THE SEAT BELT ON THE OPPONENT SO HE COULDN'T GET UP AND SHARK ME.

HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW FUNNY THAT WAS BECAUSE EVERYONE USED TO KID AROUND ABOUT WHEN YOU KEPT RUNNUNG RACKS THAT YOU HAD PUT THE SEAT BELT ON HIM. THIS GUY WAS REALLY SERIOUS BECAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS BETTING ON THESE GAMES AND HE REALLY HATED TO SEE ME GET SHARKED. HE REALLY DID WANT TO STRAP THE GUY IN.

Those were the days............

P.S. I love the ignore feature;)

I THINK YOU GUYS CHASED HIM AWAY.:crying::shrug:

I HOPE HE'S OK.

That's the best news I've heard all day:grin-square: I don't wish him any ill will, I just wish he'd stick to threads where he actually contributes something. I'm sure they are out there somewhere..

need to show you the special balls yet..........

I have to say that I got a DVD to review, I watched it and thought it was good for those who do not already do this and there are many players out there not lined up right and there aim is way off. I using an aiming method for the past year, my game has went up a good deal and being lined up is very important to be consistent.

I know when I miss a ball with the aiming method I use it can be because I am not lined up correctly, might have got lazy as I approached my shot or something to that affect. I do believe a good deal of solid B and A players already line up right but not all do and it might be something that is holding say a C or B player from moving to the next level and this game is about consistency.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results, I have seen players who have played for 30 years get down on the shot wrong and miss, I am talking simple shots. The reason they miss most of the time and they are scratching their heads why they missed is because they are guessing at where to hit the ball, they are lining up differently on the same shots also, moving and adjusting while they are down on the shot as opposed to getting up and resetting.

I think this game has many working parts, some of us have them all in order and are very good players, others are lacking certain things. If we can continue to improve each part of our game we have the ability to be a very solid and consistent player, what Gene is showing is just one part of the equation that some of us already have and some of us do not.

hi there lenny,

I NEED TO SET UP A TIME WITH YOU TO SHOW YOU HOW THE NEW TECHNIQUES WORK. YOU PROBABLY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING ALREADY WITH PERFECT AIM BUT I NEED ABOUT 10 MINUTES ON THE PHONE TO MAKE SURE.

I THINK YOU'LL REALLY LIKE WHAT I SHOW YOU. IT'S HUGE..........

THESE ARE THINGS THAT ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE VIDEO.

GIVE ME A CALL ANYTIME TONIGHT OR TOMORROW.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND GENO.............

The new teaching technique that has made my personal lessons so easy to understand during the past 3 weeks is going to be tested by each and everyone of you to see if the same great results can be accomplished with the video and this ground breaking technique.

My goal also is to have each and every one of you playing the best pool of your life a few short weeks.

Nice goal.... Let's make it happen.

Thanks again, genomachino......:thumbup2::dance

we are adding about 6 more players to the review. Have 3 spots to fill. If your struggling and looking for some answers drop a line on the thread. First 3 will be taken.

Thanks geno,,,,,,...........

I may fit your criteria...I can go from making anything to making nothing in an instant. not sure if it is aim or mechanics...(probably both)

I would like to be part of a review team.

I would like to take part of the review too. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks Steve

hi there,

this part of the review will be the phone lesson first. Then after that the video will be sent.

The idea here is to totally understand perfect aim before even getting the video. You will need to get 2 balls about the size of softballs in fact softballs will work. These will be used for visual aids only.

I'll need name and address and phone number. Send it to me in a pm and we'll be ready to go.

The reason for the phone lesson first is that in the first group the players that called for the help lesson on the phone had really great results.

The players i didn't give the phone lesson to got something out of it but i'm afraid they don't understand it perfectly.
I COULD KIND OF TELL BY THEIR RESPONSES.

My goal here is to make sure everyone can understand this amazing method.

Give me a call and we'll set up a time .

Thanks geno..........715-563-8712 anytime

Important notice to all perfect aim customers

There have been a dozen azers chosen by perfect aim to study and review the perfect aim video. Each one of these players has recieved the video and will study it and work at it and share their findings on this thread.

The hardest thing with anything is to learn it from a book or a video. I have learned this with the perfect aim video first hand.:scratchhead:

The good news is I have come up with one of the most innovative ways to teach perfect aim that has made my personal one on one lessons a piece of cake for the student to understand.:idea2:

This will be kind of an experiment to see how well these 12 azer's learn this with the new learning technique. Plus it is a way for me to give something back to some azers firsthand.:yeah:

Also I would like to say that anyone that has bought the perfect aim video can call me and I will share this new method with you.:clapping:
715-563-8712

My goal is to make sure that everyone that wants to learn perfect aim understands it, because if they do they love what it does for their game...

Have a great day everyone and I hope we have some fun with this.

Thanks azers geno...:yes::idea::thumbup2::cool:

Hi there everyone

Anyone that has bought a perfect aim video should call me personally to set up a phone lesson. There will be no charge. This is totally free.

With the new teaching methods that I have come up with over the past 2 months it has become increasingly easier to teach perfect aim than ever. By that I mean, by the time we get done you will know perfect aim forwards and backwards. I want each and everyone of you to totally understand this method and now I can make sure of it with a simple 15 minute phone call.

I am continuing to do the reviews on az. These review guys have helped me greatly. With their help I have been perfecting this method. In fact the phone lesson right now i feel is better than in person of at least as good.

No matter how well you think you know perfect aim from the video you need to call me personally and I will run you through
the phone lesson and like I said there is no charge.

This is a perfect time for this. I have about 4 months + to recover from shoulder surgery. I can't play but I can sure talk and teach.

I have done this with about 25 players so far and they could not believe how much of perfect aim they didn't understand.
And it was so simple to explain. Even over the phone with a few special props

Call before 7:00 at 715-254-6964 or after 7:00 at 715-563-8712

Thanks again geno............

Gene, I will be sending you a Cuetable diagram of two shots that will help support Perfect Aim.

This would be good...........

hi there joey,

i think this would be real good to send some pictures like this to players that i am doing these phone lessons with.

I'm going to try to perfect this more brfore i redo the video so all this great info that is now making the lessons easier will be entirely complete.

It's great that i can teach this over the phone successfully but i need to be able to put this on a video that can easily be understood.

Thanks for the input.

This diagram would be great for the video also.
