anyone play in this? or planning to this year?

i get the registration in the mail every year but have never gone. kind of thinking of playing in it this year.
 
I won't be playing this year as I am not allowed, but the championship rounds are in Tampa, which is only about a 2hour drive from me, so I plan on going to watch. Hopefully a few of my friends win their qualifiers and make it down, which would be great! ;)

It's a fun tournament, I played last year. You should sign up and give it a shot.
 
hi rufus! i'll have the opportunity to spend some extra time on 9fters this year, so i think i will sign up. you playing in laurel?

Ray and I are going to try to qualify this year for the Tampa event. Hopefully we will see you there Michell.
 
Played in it 4 times, made it to the finals in Atlanta 3 times and best finish was tie for 13th in Atlanta. I couldn't play last year but I think I am going to play in it this year...
 
I played last year and in 03. Several people on here play in the finals or tried to qualify.
There have been some winners and high finishers from AZB.

I am not sure if I am going to try or not. Taking a semi-break from playing right now. Oddly going to Tampa for the Finals last year started a real
string of odd and bad occurences. Pool is not near the top of my list right now.

Still the tournament is fun and you will meet many nice players and spectators. I would recommend it.
