I was thinking the same thing.......

thanks for the feedback. its hard for me to determine the price. most of the searing cues for sale were either plain jane ard 3k or 4 pts ard 6k...so i didnt know how to gauge the price. but not to worry, if there is a lack of interest..i will adjust it accordingly...

Let me repsond a littel further.....I have know Dennis since his days in hollywood and have had the pleaseure of spending many a Sataurday sitting and watching him in his shop make the most awesome pool cues. Dennis is in my own opinion a "perfectionsit", so to say that more accurately - I have never seen a cue go out of his shop that was not 100% to his satisfaction. I have owned many of his cues and have more on order (hopefully to arrive soon). I am a little afraid what this auction might do to the secondary cue market for Dennis's cues. people who have bought them as a player will never have the problem of selling the cue - but if you are buying as an investment to sell later (and there is nothing wrong with that IMO) than it is going to be difficult later down the line.

Let me continue to say - that I am no expert on cue prices, and I know a cue is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That being said I think if you want to sell this cue than put a price on it or raffle it off for that value. Too many times do I see people try and gouge the market by using a "raffle" to get 2 or even 3 times what a cue is worth. That being said, I know if you set a price that is fair the auction might fill up quickly. There was one not to long ago for 120.00 a spot that went off in a week or so.

Just thought I needed to clarify my previous post - since after looking back and getting some feedback from an "old friend" was the right thing to do.
