Anyone have any 5/8-18 weight bolts for a Meucci?

I can find 3ft. rods, but I figured I'd ask here first.

Thanks,
Rodney

I havn't seen a 5/8-18 bolt for Meucci. I have seen 5/16-18 & 3/8-16. The 3/8-16 is available in any hardeware store. Hope this helps

Yes, their is a 5/8 18 Meucci weight bolt.

Rodney, if you have a big hardware store in your area you might find this bolt with the allen wrench hole in the end like the little set screws, this is where I found mine and they had them up to 4" long. The Home Depot and Lowe's did not carry them.

I checked my local stores, with no luck. I found some online, I'll probably just order some.

Probably cheaper just to buy a length of all thread and cut off what is needed and use a dremel tool to cut a slot for a screw driver.

Meucci used at 3 types of weight bolts over the years, not to mention their patented technique of drilling a hole in the cues under wrap and screwing weight into the hole.

The weight bolts will depend upon when the cue was made, and I do not think that 5/16-18 was ever a thread size used by Meucci.

Take care

Craig, the bolt is 5/8-18, not 5/16-18.
