Anyone have any idea how many are signed up yet I have lost jodys # so i cant call to find out.... I'm looking forward to breaking in the new runde but I have to make sure I can get in first lol.

Lot of good things potentially going down right now. It's gonna be a hot summer yet again for sure. I also got a wire that some of the Waterloo boys are coming down for the tournament as well. Should be some good action going on.
Olathe does a mini tournament that's $300/man race to 11 Ten Ball on the bar tables, single elimination. I think we should have a similar event. That event is cool because since there are only 8 players in it, I think the most a player can put in is half his entry. I think that could be worthwhile if the right guys show up.

Yeah pretty much, it might have been full backing now that I think about it. I know they had a sign up list to put players in, so it was blind in that way. I tried to put Jesse in and someone beat me too it so then I wanted to put Kucharo in and he was already in. So I said screw it. Jess won it and Kucharo got 2nd..$2400 prize pool...I was a wee bit mad I won't lie.
Okay - Kind of a pick your gladiator and put them in the pit kinda deal. That'd be kinda cool. I like the concept.

Go to Meadows and get a bet down. I think they have OTB there but I could be mistaken. I know nothing about horses, do you?
They eat hay and go fast. I know some - but not enough about the racing part of it.

So is anyone going up to Big Dog's Wednesday or Thursday during the day to get ready for the weekend? If so I would like to play some cheap sets just to get used to the diamond tables again. Been playin on the valleys too much lately at all these state tourneys! Wow, do I hate that heavy cue ball!! Let me know if you are interested in some friendly practice...
I'm going up for league tonight and other than that prob won't be in until Friday when some of the players start trickling in. The ten ball tournament might be pretty good this week come to think of it.

I guess one thing that's kind of funny to me is how much people like to promote pool. I mean all you have to do is ask someone to post the tourney or give someone a call and they will post it or pass it on. Not even like I am working it, it's just a phone call here and there.

Yes you should hit more balls and try to get ready for this Saturday. You will probably be racing to 4 if you play so you have an opportunity to do well if you catch a little gear. Hope to see you this weekend buddy and if you can't make it to the tourney to play come on down to sweat it.
Does anyone know who's on the handicapping committee for the tournament? I wasn't asked to be on it and I have texted people to find out my answer and no one returns my text. Simple question with a simple answer.
