Update on the Des Moines pool scene

OK there was a prize, I didn't want to say it I just wanted to see who would do it. If you would like to play in the 8-Ball tourney this Saturday I will put you in it at no cost to you. If you don't want to play in the tourney I will buy you any TAR shirt you want.

That's my thanks for this thread reaching a new milestone and everyone keeping it alive for a year.
 
Speaking of gay guys...So I walk out onto our deck to see a guy picking up cigarette butts off the ground and smoking them. I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but he looked like he shopped at Jamie Fenton's closet! Oh, and he really could have been Jamie's twin as well :) The only difference was that this guy had a hair out of place, where Jamie would have spent an hour making sure it wasn't :) So I told him maybe he shouldn't have spent all his money at the Buckle and bought a pack of smokes instead!!

LOL Jamie doesn't have a whole bunch of hair left, it's getting thinner than a racing bike wheel up there.

I might have the same amount of hair as Jamie, but I don't use a hair dryer or spend an hour making sure all three are just right!! :) This guy made my day!!

:angry:...Ugh, now I'm pissed. I can't play this Saturday because I have a bachelors party that starts at 7 so I need to meet at Legends around 630 for the party bus. I actually can't skip this as I am in his wedding (my buddy JD). I might go two and out in the tourny so it would be a mute point, but I am not going to risk the chance I win a round or two and have to forfeit...Very nice gesture Farley. I will have to unfortunately take the t-shirt. Can they customize one to say either "THE 7" or "Spimp"? Thanks again for the offer.

are they going to open up before noon sat or is it going to be a rush in and start kinda thing?

I really hope my new baby shows up before the tourney starts......

I just talked to Big Nasty and they are getting a bunch of new t-shirts made up and they should be on the web before everyone starts going to Vegas. If you want to wait cool if not any hustlin shirt off hustlinusa.com is fair game as well. You just let me know. Congrats.

Lol 229-0420 and his name is JD if you do not believe me :). There would be no real reason to turn down a free offer otherwise sir eats a lot!

As for needs the 7....I am more partial to the purple ball. I could just get "Needs the 4 for life".
 
No one is going to care but I just beat Mindsweeper on expert in 412 seconds which beats my previous best by over a 100 seconds.

Figuring out incline angles on conveyors to control the production rate is even less fun than mindsweeper I'll tell you that much.

If you and the Locksmith ever get banned, you can always come back on here with new screen names..."Needs The 4 For Life" and "Sir Eats A Lot"!! I think the Sir Eats A Lot is better though :)
 
So, who all is playing this weekend from our Des Moines pool community? Hope to see everyone there!! It has been awhile since we have had a decent tourney, so I hope everyone will support it.

Rock star avatar there! Over under it gets you warned in about two hours.

I'll be there of course, I expect the Sunday tourney crowd plus some other locals. Hoping for 80 players. Anything more would be a big success, less than that would be decent, under 50 it's a bust. Ten Ball tonight, hope to see a couple few strange faces in the building.

It is a slow Friday...not my best but here ya go. I hope there is a good turnout as well for tomorrow.
