Here are the specs. & pics. of this rare J/B cue.
It is rare because Andy stopped building them with ebony in 2003 due to the rising cost of ebony. This one has had the entire butt re-finished by Andy in April of 2010.

Cue length : 58" at the top of ferrule
Butt: Gabon Ebony
Pins: both are 3/8x10 precise fitting
Forearm: BEM w/4 ebony pts.
Beauty rings: Bushka style with ivory (3ea.)
Shaft wt. : 3.695oz.
Tip : new hard triangle
Lwr. Butt wt : 10.705oz.
Jump Butt wt. : 4.53oz.
Total cue wt. : 18.925oz.
This cue is straight & hits em. really good!

I believe he told me this one is like $700.00 new.
He lightly smoothed the shaft down only.
There are absolutely no nicks or blemishes in this cue!
 
The cue butt is as good as new & the shaft is smooth & perfect except for discoloration from play. I really like the cue & I don't care if it sells or not. I know what this cue is worth & if someone wants it they are gonna pay for it. $550.00 for this fantastic Gilbert J/B is a great price for a cue that Andy will not build anymore.

yep that's right people. andy doesn't make ebony j/b's anymore. i talked to him about it a few weeks back and he seemed real adamant about it

Nice cue! If I didn't already have 4 Gilberts, I'd consider it. Not a bad price for a cue that seems to have collectible value in addition to the incredible playability that Andy's cues are known for.
