Do those trucks have the cage to hold the balls in if they are removed from the rail?

yes you can remove them but need to be careful

So they have a cage or no they don't have a cage? The caged bearings will fit a rail for a caged bearing but not fit a non caged rail style. A non caged bearing will fit either. if you slide the bearing off of the rail in the position show will the balls fall out? If so then it is a non caged bearing.

we have taken the bearing blocks off the rails several times. I am always very careful when I do this, but no balls have ever fell out, so I am assuming they have a cage.
