The butt of my cue has a thin gouge about 1 cm long. It's an all wood cue so my hand hits the gouge every so often. I'd like to find a way to fill it in. It's not very deep either.

I good cuesmith could correct the problem by doing a refinish on the cue. Depending on how bad the gouge is new finish may be able to added to the area after it is cleaned up and the entire cue may not need the refinish, it all depend how bad it is.
