Guys can you believe the miz has been gone 4 years, almost ? Truely one of the very best all around pool players from USA. Perhaps the greatest stroke of pool in terms of power and follow through. Proud to say i own a big pic of steve, signed from 1977 US straight pool championship. The MIZ lives on!!!

Pool was never more popular then when Steve played. When was the last time anyone ever saw a commercial featuring a pool player?
I have a video called the Fiat Challenge. I recorded in 1987, I think.
It was the Miz vs Steve Davis in straight pool, snooker, and maybe 9 ball.
winner to earn 50 thousand. I have the snooker portion, complete with interviews, commentary, and an introduction to snooker.
I have tried and failed to get it out there, It seems I lack the computer skills...BUT WAIT: 3 and stop can do it for sure. It would take some time but he does have the video and skill to do it.
Maybe if we join together we could persuade him to get this wonderful video out there. It really is a must see video of one of our greatest champions.

steve, if you're ever inclined to get that video onto a computer and have the patience to try, I can walk you through it. It's something I'm pretty handy with. I would love to watch that. Not enough miz footage in my collection. Certainly nothing with him playing snooker.

The Miz was the epitome of what pool is. Always seemed to have a smile on and having a good time. Serious, but not too serious. Attitude more like Fats but talent more towards Mosconi. He is dearly missed.
