This is a closeup of the wrap very unusual and also look closely- the bottom portion maybe 2 inches is a seperate piece of leather....kinda interesting I have never seen one quite like it.

Mark,
I didn't realize until your last email that you aren't the owner of the cue, or that you're the middle man. Don't take this wrong and PLEASE don't be offended, but I don't buy from 3rd parties. It just opens the door for misunderstandings, mis-communication, etc, etc.

The vast majority of problem cases on AZ have been under similar circumstances, so I stay clear.

This is NOT a reflection of you nor the cue owner, just the circumstances of having a third party acting as broker.

So I'm going to pass.

Thanks anyways,
-von

Von and all AZers -

I can understand concerns about dealing with a "middle man". Mark has been doing an outstanding job on my behalf regarding my cue sale and I am very appreciative. I am retiring due to health issues and have a lot of non-cue issues to deal with - health/medical, sale of my business, relocation, etc, etc. I simply did not have the time or energy to deal with those important issues and take on the cue sales. Mark has been given full authority and discretion with regard to these cues. If you will look at the various posts Mark has made, and the responses from buyers, you will see that Mark has undertaken this task with great focus and effort.

You can all rely on Mark to handle your inquiries, and hopefully purchases, with professionalism and integrity. That being said, if anyone would like to contact me directly you can do it through a PM here on AZB. For the above reasons I would prefer you deal with Mark but the bottom line is that I want to sell these cues and I am available.

Thanks,

Bob Hoppmann

Bob & Mark,
I didn't understand the situation until after my prev post. Mark isn't a real middle man, rather he's assisting with the logistical stuff that's so time consuming. You have enough on your plate!

TO AZers, we (Mark & I) have since completed a FLAWLESS, smooth, perfect transaction for one of Bob's cues.

Couldn't have gone better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

THANKS to both of you for helping to make AZ a great community.
