Steve Moon, proprietor of Pockets of Lansing, invites you to tune in to a live streamed 3 Cushion Shot Contest that he is holding, starting at 1400 hours EST on the 5th of June 2010. Your Host will also be broadcasting the El Jefe Live Show from Pockets some time in that same time frame.

El Jefe Shouts!

Straight from the keyboard of Mr. Dieckman via email.
(I hope he isn't confused and thinking this will be a shouting contest)

Here are the rules for the shot contest



SHOTS WILL BE RANDOMLY SELECTED FROM A POOL OF SHOTS. THE NUMBER OF SHOTS SELECTED WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND THE TIME FRAME ALLOWED.


EL JEFE WILL SHOOT THE SHOT FIRST FOLLOWED BY THE OTHER PLAYERS, THE ORDER PLAY TO BE DETERMINED BY BLIND DRAW FOR EACH SHOT. EACH PLAYER WILL GET THREE ATTEMPTS AT THE SELECTED SHOT.


SHOULD THEY MAKE IT ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT THEY SHALL SCORE THREE POINTS. ON THE SECOND ATTEMPT THEY SHALL SCORE TWO POINTS IF THE SHOT IS MADE. MAKING IT ON THE THIRD ATTEMPT SCORES ONE POINT. SIX WOULD BE A PERFECT SCORE.


ON ANY ATTEMPT, IF THE SHOT IS MADE, THE PLAYER WILL THEN CONTINUE TO SHOOT, SCORING ONE POINT FOR EACH SUCCESFUL 3 CUSHION SHOT MADE, UNTIL THEY MISS. THERE WILL BE A 15 SECOND SHOT CLOCK IN EFFECT FOR THESE SHOTS, ENFORCED BY EL JEFE.


PLAYER WITH THE MOST POINTS AT THE END WINS. TIES TO BE BROKEN BY BOTH PLAYERS SHOOTING THE BREAK SHOT AND SEEING HOW MANY THEY CAN RUN IN THREE ATTEMPTS. 10 SECOND SHOT CLOCK TO APPLY HERE.


ENTRY FEE IS $20. $10 OF THAT GETS YOU A RAFFLE TICKET FOR A CUE, WITH THE MONEY GOING TOWARDS VARIOUS THINGS TO PROMOTE BILLIARDS, AS EL JEFE SEES FIT. $5 GOES TO MOON AND THE REST GOES TO FIRST PLACE, WHICH IS THE ONLY PLACE BEING PAID, AND NOT MUCH AT THAT.
