Hi,

How does a larger cue ball affect SAM? I was playing on a bar box with a great big cue ball and had a lot of trouble using SAM on most of my shots.

Any time you have an oversize cue ball, it will change the relationship between your aiming point and your contact point, regardless of what aiming system you are using.
It may not be a huge difference, but there is a difference you need to adjust for. All of your cut shots are going to go a little bit short of what you expect with an oversize ball.

(I hate oversize and heavy cue balls found on so many bar tables)

Thanks, Steve. That's pretty much what I noticed was happening for me. I hate those over sized bar box cue balls too.
