Anyone know anything about this case? It came with a cue I just bought. It is by no means a 'great' case, but looks to be of decent age and the cue I bought is also kind of old (late 70's early 80's).

Is is lined in a purple color felt with a gold grown and 'imperial' listed in gold as well. Outside seems to be a brown leather/imitation leather.

Buckles open up much like a suitcase would and the handle is black rubber which extends out when you hold it.

The name and logo Imperial was established in 1968 and in the 1970's they became a major player in affordable, imported cues and cases and other billiards items. basically, it's an imported case - probably made in Taiwan.

Here's a little history on them:

Makes plenty of sense haha - just wanted to get some history behind it as it struck me weird and nothing I have ever seen - thanks
