Is Schon printed anywhere on the cue or on the buttcap?

Am I seeing in the picture that "SCHON" is printed in block letters on the shaft's joint collar?


There were a couple of different model Schon's with this same design. The SL 5 is close:

yes, schon is in the butt plate. It came with 2 shafts, one with block letters in the trim ring and one is on the shaft it self. Both are 12MM in diameter. I got the cue from my cue repairman here in Wilmington.

The shaft with the Schon stamped on the ring collar could have come with your cue and that would put it at 1994- 1995, which could easily make it an SL cue.

Over time there were several models that had this design. I think it's safe to call it an SL-5.
