Hightower Deluxe Cue Smith for sale

Hightower deluxe for sale. It is a used lathe but works very good. Comes with quick release tool post with five tool holders. It has taper bars, wrap motor with foot pedal, router, and cutters. The lathe is located in Plano, TX. I will not ship.

If there are no problems with the lathe I will most likely take it, and I have a friend who can pick it up for me so you would not have to ship. FYI, if you just drop it off at your local UPS Store or other pack and ship type of store, they will take care of all the packing and shipping for you.

Be prepared to go through a claims process for damaged goods. These places just do not know how to pack a lathe to survive UPS handling consistantly. The poundage on the carboard for the box is special order thickness for the long box. For those who don't do this on a regular basis the best way to ship it to crate it up and truck it by freight.

I will second that!!!!!

My taper shaper arrived as if it had to walk the 2000 miles...in a war zone... not good.
 
You have an offer to buy the lathe at asking price without having to ship, within a couple of hours of posting this ad. No response for a couple of days now? :confused: oh well
