I'd say the most popular/cheaper material for white points would be Holly. You can also use Ivory, bone, plastics etc.

Besides holly or ivory, I have used elforyn and have had great results. it machines well and looks great. The price is far less than ivory.

what about a cue like allison fisher uses, where the front is white with black points, is that the same material with ebony points?
