And the weekend after that, the Desert Classic Tour is in Tucson at Pockets Billiards.

What would really be fun would be to see a couple local rooms jump on the bandwagon and run events between these three events during the week.

Mike, is this tourney open to anyone in the world? I take it that it's a double elimination tournament. What is the race going to be?

Also, do you think there will be any qualifiers offered around town?

I think we could run some at Stingers in the prior weeks seeing it's the same equipment. Maybe $10 tourneys with $125 entries given.

Lastly, is there a cap to how big this tourney can be? 128 players+??
 
I love the qualifier idea. Will you be at Metro this weekend? We could talk about it there. Lets talk about it before I approach any other rooms.

It is 128 players max and races to 9 on both sides. True double elim.

Do you think Stingers might be interested in running something big between the SW BCA and the 10-Ball event? Maybe run something on Tue or Wed night? That way, if the players are in town for both then they would have a tourney option during the week.

Maybe something on Tuesday Night! We have our BCA Champions League on Wednesday Night already! (We are taking the week off before to allow players to play in the Southwest Regional).

I won't be at Metro as I can't ever play in any tourneys over there. But I do think a few qualifiers could happen in August to get people qualified!
