One Pocket Tournament in Gulfport- Who's going?

Just wondering if any of you guys are coming down to the Gulfport, MS One pocket tournament.

Luigi, Chicago Mike and John Henderson made it down last year or maybe it was the year before along with moi.

This year it is known as the Mike Surber Memorial One Pocket Tournament.

Mike was murdered for little reason. You can visit www.mikesurber.com for more details about his murder as well as the REWARD for his killer.

If you play just a little one pocket, this is the tournament for you. It's handicapped but you can't sneak in at the last minute with a low handicapped. Get your information in to Gulfport Doc here or on www.onepocket.org

There's $2,000.00 being ADDED to the entry fees. MAXiMUM 32 PLAYERS.

Skeeter's Billiards in Gulfport, MS. Casinos galore and lots of poker action. Oh Jay ;-)

If the GingerBread Man shows up I will play him some one pocket, $200-300 a game. BigTruck is itching to stream this event and this would send him to the moon.

There are some serious issues I must give my full attention to here. So I shan't be in attendance, though I wish I could. I'm hoping to pop (and indulge) in some serious champagne, about a year from now. And I promise to do my best to make it to the next edition of the tournament.

I'll definitely be there (entry has been paid) and I'm even bringing my own designated driver!

Good luck to all that play but hopefully just a little less than I have!!!

Talked to him today...He didn't mention it...but of course I don't have copy rights on all his action:smile:

This was late, late info coming across the wire so it probably didn't even get to Gary by the time you spoke to him.

C ya next weekend in Gulfport.
 
Good to hear that y'all are coming down. Jerry Brock called today, and he's coming. Could be some action on Sat. night.;) Y'all would be safe if you send your entry fees in. That would secure your spots. I have a feeling we'll get guys coming on 7/17 expecting to play, but the 32 spots might possibly be filled. Just a heads up..:cool:

Jerry Brock & now John Schmidt. That's some heavy hitters. It's always good to play against the better players.

Hey Doc, did you hear how badly I got whipped again this weekend in Atlanta? Even the girls had their way with me. Helena gave me a severe thumping.

I was hoping these recent losses would move me down in class and don't worry, I was trying to beat her.

JoeyA, looking forward to playing Brock and Schmidt as a D player.
