Brunswick: Manufacturing Superspeed Rubber

HMMMM I wonder how old that clip is? I'm pretty sure the people doing the work now are a little shorter with black hair and slanted eyes.
lol....that is funny....but sad considering the quality of the cushions have gone down.

Several years ago, I bought a bunch of water buffalo tips from a company in China who also manufactured cushions. They sent me a bunch of samples and showed me the ones they manufactured for Brunswick. I suppose they could have been lying about it but I can't see any difference from the ones sold here under the Brunswick name. They had probably 50 different tips and every cushion profile I'd ever heard of and many I hadn't. I do have to say that the tips were great! Better than anything that ever came out of the Tweeten Factory, IMHO! Can't speak for the cushions, I got out of the table service business about that time and passed the samples and info on to a buddy in the biz.

I definatly believe you can get a great product for your buck from China as long as the quality control is in place. Which means someone with vested interest better be overseeing the final product in country.
