Leather Wrap Needed w/Install

I posted a request on Lucasi Hybrids in the Main Forum, but received no commentary. I want to know if the rubber wrap can be replaced with a leather wrap without much difficulty..ie.. thinckness and length and who can do this.

J&D Customs, here on the forum, did two of mine. Did a great job. Jim is a nice guy to work with.
 
I would be curious on this one since I have a friend of mine that wants me to put on a lizard wrap to replace his rubber grip/handle on his Lucasi as well.
 
No, no, and no. :angry:I have one right now that I want to break. :angry:The wrap is two layers. :angry:The first being a thin foam glued directly to the wood and then the rubberized grip on top of that.:angry: The handle is undercut about twice the "normal" amount.:angry: I had to fill the difference with epoxy to build it up.:angry: Pain in the ass.:angry: The only reason I even tried was the original wrap was torn.:angry:
