As Amsterdam Billiard Club announced last week, there will be a New York-sized prize fund added to their fall Team 9-ball League season payout.* However, ABC has just decided to bump up the added money from $20,000 to $26,000!* This addition will now pay out a grand prize of $15,000 to the first place finishing team.* Read the original payout announcement here.

Along with bigger bonuses for the highest-finishing teams in the league, Amsterdam Billiards is continuing to roll out exciting new bonuses for their league players.* To start, Amsterdam is introducing a new "Photo of the Week" drink giveaway.
Over the next few weeks, starting this Friday, August 6th, Jerry Tarantola of NYC Grind will be shooting photos of the league's players, to be posted on NYCgrind.com. Each week, one photo will be selected as the "Photo of the Week", and anyone who appears in that photo will win a free drink every night for seven nights.*
You will be able to catch "The Photo of the Week" along with more upcoming coverage of all of Amsterdam's leagues (including the 8-ball and Straight Pool Leagues) on NYCgrind.com.
In more news, Amsterdam will also be hosting a free exhibition featuring some of the biggest names in professional pool.* On Monday, August 23 from 7-9pm, Mika Immonen, Tony Robles, Rodney Morris, and Charlie Williams will be sharing their skills with Amsterdam's players and pool fans.* These four champions will be going head to head in challenge matches, along with matching up against audience members.
There will be more exciting events and specials throughout Amsterdam's 20th Anniversary year, and we will be making more announcements as the season progresses!
