Meucci Starter Collection Low End (light)

Is the butt birdseye maple? I have one like this that is birdseye maple. I would guess it was made in the early 80's. If the shaft and butt are not straight it won't bring much.I would guess it sold new for less than 200.00. I've been seeing old J Hook meucci's in good condition selling for 200.00 or less on e-bay. I'll take a early meucci butt over any cue I've ever played with. Steve Lomax can tell you anything about any meucci.
 
Well it's got the newer Meucci logo so it's not the same cue as in the Budget cues link.

The new logo came out mid-ish 90's ?

I'm sure someone else can be more specific but that's the jist.
 
Thanks so far, guys. I didn't notice your answers earlier because I forgot to sibscribe to the thread. I'll drop Mr. Lomax a message.

The stick is in such a good condition that I can't imagine it was built in the early 80s. That fits to what RRfireblade said.

The script M logo started being used in late 1990.
