when you guys put new tips on do you trim them down some or leave them with mostly a full tip?
i have an older moori med.(which i love) on my jacoby shaft (has 3-4 layers) and a kamuii MSII (has 7-8 layers) on my predator 314, for some reason the stock shaft has a better feel and has a better sound than the 314 which sounds and feels dead.
i dont know if it just the difference in the shafts or the tips?
the moori is getting down there and will have to be replaced soon. i am dreading having to replace it either with a new moori, which i have heard they arent as good of a tip, or the kamuii MSII.
does anybody have a couple older moori mediums they would be willing to part with? i recall somebody on here asking if anyone had noticed the difference in the moori tips not to long ago, hoping he will maybe part with a couple if he sees this or anyone else if they have em.
