Azbilliard app

I wanted to ask about a
Possibility for an azbilliards app for iPhone and blackberry. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea let's try to get the ball rolling on it. I would love it and I'm sure some other people that are registered to the site would love it too. Just an idea. Let's see what we can do?

The first time I got on here with my Droid, an advertisement for some forum browsing tool came up. I forget the name but this and many other forums were native to whatever format it was. Internet browser works fine for me though. In fact, I'm on my phone right now.

Are you an app developer? I heard netflix is looking for programmers for a Droid app.
 
Azb is tapatalk enabled as it stands. I'm using that right now. Costs 2 bucks, but well worth it. And there is a free read only version I used for while. I'm very happy with the app and it's a full vbulletin enabled app.

I would however ask that azb upgrade the backend of tapatalk as there are a couple of features that aren't currently enabled due to the backend being older than my client. Is there a forum for talking to the admins for the forums? (I have not looked for it yet, this just seems like a good venue to bring it up)

not sure what an app would offer that you can't get just visiting the site. but one idea I had... smaller forums sometimes have a chat window next to the forum. not practical to chat with hundreds of users on at once, but an app that offers chat with a handful you select might be nice. paging paul nettle.
 
The app should offers easier navigation of the forums and up coming tournaments, some other things too. I'm not an app developer I was just sitting in the pool hall last night and had the idea. Plus I get tired of zooming in and out on my phone to read stuff from the site. Hell it's just an idea and if not many people from the site use iPhone or blackberry then I wouldn't expect azb to get an app made anyway
 
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the very left you can choose the version you want displayed. There is an iPhone version that was developed about a year ago. It will format the screen to fit your phone so you don't have to zoom in and out. I prefer the Tech Two version, even with the zooming. Hope that helps.

That's what I use for my iphone and it's great.. Works like a charm and connects to hundreds of different forums if you wish to.. Well worth it IMHO>
