Nothing says worth the money like repeat business. i just got off the phone with bryan and i ordered another cue from him.

to be honest i don't think i've played as well since i sold my BCM. i've had 2 friends tell me that i played more consistent with it than anything else iv'e used. i've thought before but having them tell me that really made me accept it. the cue just fit how i play so i'm buying another one.

now comes the hard part. waiting for the cue to arrive

It will be well worth the wait Sam, I`m sure.
I`ve heard nothing but great things about BCM cues.
Take care & congrats to ya sir. Be sure to post up some pics when she arrives as well.

What type of cue did you select? Merry Widow, traditional, etc?

a merry window. i've been kicking myself since i sold the last one i had so it was really only a matter of time till i bought another one.

Agreed. I appreciate the over the top cues....But I really like a simple cue that lets beautiful, and interesting wood, as well as the hit, do the talking.

Don't kick yourself too hard Sam - your cue went to a very good home..;)..and it's liking it's new One Pocket gambling lifestyle...like for example this past Friday night, your old BCM very much enjoyed watching a strong One Pocket player unscrew - after it beat him and his Joss West for 6 games...:)

Could we see a few pics of this magic wand?

yep that's the one. i'm having a similar design made to replace the one i sold.

Man you let that thing go at a crazy low price.....I am sorry you had to sell that elegant black beauty. Looked like a very nice cue!

yeah i hated to have to do it. i honestly haven't played as well since it's been gone.

i let it go lower than i should have but i've always done that with just about everything i sell on here. i'm stuck thinking what goes around comes around but these days even if i sold something to someone cheap they still try to gouge me when i want to buy something from them.

i've talked to a few az'rs in person and they know what i'm talking about

I've done it a few times myself...You just have to stick to your guns...It's tough but that BCM of yours was a keeper. IMO. I think that cue would look killer as a wrapless, with the right wood combo, and ringwork. Your old one looked like a Bobby Hunter, and was very classy bro'.

i just don't dig wrapless cues. i can get used to them but i'd rather just have a nice soft piece of leather holding my hand

If you're going with leather, go with that black baby lizard print wrap that Brian is using now! Man I love that wrap! Very Classy IMO....

actually bryan used something really soft on the last cue he made me. i think i'm going to ask him to just use the same stuff on this one. it was so soft it felt like i was petting a lama

Speaking nothing of the playability of his cues, as I have never shot or owned one, I can say with absolute certainty that every one of his cues on the first or second-hand market that I've seen here have shown exceptional wood choices. This can only suggest that Bryan is a person that truely has an appreciation and understanding of his craft with an honest intention to impress and satisfy his current and future customer base.

Seriously, I don't think I would have to beg him to find a piece of wood that is on reserve or 'something special', if I were to commission him for a cue. I think he would like his work to be held to that standard on it's own. Sheesh, the guy polishes his G-10 pins so they don't look all 'dusty' when you get them from Atlas.... God is in the details, they say.

I for one (don't know if I could afford it...LOL) would be amped to have a plain jane wrapless merry widow made with some of his stock. It would be with no doubt that the figure, fit, and finish would be beyond my expectation.

^2 cents.
