Beautifull Ariel Carmeli (December 2008)

Bump.

Any suggestions in order to sell it? Here in Spain is hard to do it, because there is not enough custom culture here at all, almost 95% of the players here use production cues, so my only chance is to sell it in ebay.

Thanks

You could try selling it on consignment with a reputable dealer.

Sorry, but I don´t understand what you mean...can you please explain me what is selling on consigment with a reputable dealer?

Selling it to a Dealer? Like who? If you know any dealers that might be interested in buying, please let me know.

Thanks

Most cue consignments work something like this:

1.) Find a reputable dealer who offers consignment services.

2.) Agree to terms... Most dealers will ask for some percentage of the cue's sale price in exchange for their work.

3.) Ship the cue to the dealer.

4.) He/she usually takes pictures and measurements and then markets the cue in some way.

5.) When the cue sells, payment is sent to the dealer, the cue is shipped to the buyer, the dealer takes his cut of the money, and the rest of the money is sent to you.

Ok I understand what you mean, but how can I find reputable dealers that may want to get my cue to sell it?

Does anyone know any?

Thanks.

I would start a new thread with a title that reads something like this: "Looking to Sell Cue on Consignment" or "Wanted: Cue Consignee"

Before committing to consignment, though, you could first try selling the cue yourself with the use of an escrow service.

Many people are weary about overseas deals. Consignment and escrow provide an element of security.

I had to look for the word escrow in the dictionary, anyway, I don't know how can I make an escrow...

I you know what you mean about sending a cue overseas, although I bought it overseas.

The fact is that here in Spain pool players don't know much about custom cues...they only want Predator and production cues, so selling it here is almost impossible, I had it posted in a forum for few months but they will not pay 1.300 $ for a Carmeli but they will for a Predator.

I will give it another try in Ebay where you can pay through paypal which I believe is secure.

Thanks.
