Please provide an address of the establishment and time the player auction will be held. I plan on being there again this year. But it has been a LOT of beer since last year. Who came in 2nd> ? Steve Allison

I know who came in 3rd I bought him. Paid for my gas and beer.

there should be a link to the flyer on this thread in a couple of days or so then you will have the info you need.

As mentioned already-
This is a fun, weekend full of good pool, lots of laughs and sweating railbirds. Some past winner include Justin Bergman, Lars Vardamen, Chuck Raulston (just to name a few)... don't let that list detour you away from this event... they are the creme of the crop and that depends on the draw!
Calcutta Friday night, limited to 64 players, draw four 16 man brackets (one bracket for each location)... so you could be the top dog in your bracket, you could be the one that joins the railbirds first... all depends on the draw. 16 man double elimination with top 2 advancing to Sundays Elite Eight.
Flyers attached... see for yourself! Be sure to sign up early and book hotel rooms if needed!

Good luck and hope to see a few new faces this year!
Zim

I heard from Mike the other day that he's having some logo shirts for sale also, with the profits getting donated to the fund!

Logo on front, past winners and sponsors on back! Should be pretty nice!

I just talked to Mike Potthast (the T.D. for this event) and he's getting ready to order T-Shirts. Logo on Front, past winners down middle of back and sponsors down the sides of the back. Price will be $15.00 with 100% of profits going to Joe Santels childs college fund (which is where all the proceeds go).

If anyone would like to order a shirt, you can order them thru me!

Thanks,
Zim

I know it is 8 ball but it took one of the monsters of the bar box to keep Steve Allison from winning the Midwest 9 ball tournament at the break this weekend.

Shane McMinn Oaklahoma
Steve Allison East Side, Illinois. 2nd place

If I do not have to work, then I will try and make the auction Friday night.

Hope to see you there.

BUMP TO THE TOP.:cool::cool::cool::cool:

I remember last year the auction started late due to the auctioneer being busy and coming in after happy hour.

So, what time will the blind bids go off.

thanks:smile:

Yeah, Mr. Kues was the Auctioneer, was a little late, but did a good job IMO! I think it kicks off at 8pm!

Clinton County does have some "must see" places... Dairy King, Wally's, Governer's Run, just to name a few!

8 p.m. calcutta start. please call me if you find out that is NOT the case.
I would like to attend the auction, I cannot play due to the tournament in Quincy on Saturday but do enjoy a good player auction from time to time.

I will be there by 7:30 that is the scheduled time correct.

Are you doing que repairs? Friday I need a couple tips put on and do not feel like driving to Kansas to have my brother do them.

thanks:confused:
