There is cue that is a szam style with the name Sutton on the butt cap in block letters and it gos around the cap not vertical. The owner says that the person he got it from said a guy named Sutton owned it and that's why its on there.
I told him that there is a cue maker named Dave Sutton and it could be one of his. I don't have pics but it has 4 sharp almost even points and 4 veneers and a hoppe ring. It also has a stainless steel piloted joint and 2 shafts. Can anybody help me out?

It's a 4- pt Jerry Rauenzahn cue with "Sutton" on the Hoppe ring.

Does Chuck still have it?

It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.
Most of that is in the past though.
I now only collect Lucasi cues, and by the way, there's a nice one on Ebay you should check out.
It looks like a porchwood forearm....very rare!
You won't find that one at the electronics store.

I bet I'm the only one you know that bought a Chinese made cue at an electronics store!
And by the way it has an mp3 player under the rubber bumper.
 
He asked if I wanted to buy it. So I was just trying to figure out who made it and what it is worth. It does need a refinish and new wrap. Any idea of the value considering the condition.

Isn't Mp3 a variation of 3-cushion?
Who's the player and how did he get in there (or should I ask)
Bring your Lucasi to Billiards Ink and i'll try to get him out.
The extra 180 lbs. could affect the balance point of the cue.
Most people would just use a weight bolt..:eek:
