Capone Cue Question

So I was lucky enough to win a Capone Cue in a raffle earlier this week. I am familiar with the fact that he is a very solid cue maker, but as far as the specific's of his cue I'm not as much. So I was wondering if I can get some info about his cue's, ie.. playability, ferrule material, background info, balance, stuff like this and any extra additional info.

Thanks in advance.

His cues play really solid, very stiff hitting cues and he never uses ivory ferrules. You will be surprised to see how good this cue will play:thumbup:

thats funny b/c I've seen and hit balls with an Capone with an ivory ferrule.

They play just fine....a little softer than I like but he makes a good cue as thats a personal preference. Balance was good....all together I'd give his cues an over all 85-90 out of a 100 compared to what I think are the best cues are in finish and form so his quality is up there.

I would rate something like a Schon in the low 80's and we all know how well those cues are...I'd give Scruggs (and I'm sure Mike C. is right there too, R.I.P.) 97-100 thats rare country right there...My 100's are DPK/SW, Spain, Buska (I'm sure Gus/Barry/Joel/Tony are all there too just never had the opportunity to use one )

A Capone is my daily player. I think the cues are great players. I have had gilberts, scruggs etc and the capone is the only one I've kept. I got it brand new and the only thing I've ever changed is the tips. Other cues I've played with I've done tons of things too but not my Capone. It moves the ball very easy but with control so that you can get the cue ball in an out of places.Ive had mine for about 7 years now and it has held up very well in the fit and finish category.

I would say again that he does not use ivory ferrules. Thanks.

I believe the cue you are referring to was originally purchased from IndyQ.

Is this the one?
