No idea why I've yet to hear about this....

kidding KJ, good (well, kinda) seein' you last night

Sounds like a good event, and will surely be well run like the other River City tourneys. I'll try to let everyone know that I can!!

As long as your girl's gonna be there....I'll be there to feed her at least

BUMP.....let's hear from some folks who wanna come and try to take this one down!!!!

Ha! Yeah, this will be a terrific event with the added money and level of players who love 10 ball. Nobody wants to lose on the hill to somone snapping or shitting in the 9.

I'm just glad we can also help out a good cause on top of it all. I plan to see plenty of good female players from all around the midwest to take down the top amateur female side pot. I've already got more women than men signed up, so you guys should have a good time. :grin-square:

Right on. Yeah, I just confirmed reduced rates at one of the closest hotels. It's called the 'MK Lodging Heritage Inn' and I got them to offer rooms for $30 (single) and $35 (doubles).

Here's a link with info...

'MK Lodging Heritage Inn'

The other places nearby to stay are... (all are links to hotel info)

(Cheaper)

- Red Roof Inn
- Super 8

(Nicer & not so cheap)

- Spring Hill Suites
- Residence Inn
- Fairfield Inn
- Baymont Inn and Suites
- Marriot Courtyard
- Comfort Suites

ALL of these hotels/motels are less than 3 miles from Dave's Goodtime Billiards.

Just call up Peoria Pool @ (309) 228-POOL (7665) to sign up/register.

Please leave your name/number and we will contact you to complete your registration. Thank you!

Actually, I have been planning this tournament for almost 1 year. If you noticed, the date I have chosen to run this '10' ball tournament is on the weekend of '10/10/10'. So... this is not just a random coincidence.

I have also been promoting this tournament for months now, but didn't post it on AZ until now.

Where is a tourney that can complete with this?

Hey are you going to post the entrants like the past tournaments?

I would like to come up for the auction, but cannot stay. Working again, hell I might get laid off by then???

Thanks:eek::eek::eek::eek:

This tourney will open to more than 64 players and up to 128 and this is the reason for the '+' behind the $2000 Added.

The '64' was only listed to show what a minimum full field would consist of for the sake of the $2000 Added (based on full field).

If we have a max field of 128, then the Added $ will be closer to $3000+.

So... let's everyone get signed up early if possible, cause this will be a kick ass tourney! :thumbup2:

Yes Mark, I will put that together to start showing all the early entrants, but as you and I both know, this will not mean much as so many players like to show up the morning of with cash in hand.

Everyone that signs up early will receive a FREE T-Shirt! :happydance:

Where will the player list be? On the website,??

Questions re: Bank pool ring games

-Will these be played on the gold crowns, or Valleys?

- Do you have to be registered for the 10-ball tourney to play in the ring games?

I'm most likely going to play the bank ring games on the barboxes as well, simply because the camera setup will already be on the 2 feature tables (barboxes).

That being said... if everyone would prefer to play the GC's instead, then of course we'll hook that up. If you want, we can probably do both actually.

No, you do not have to be registered for the event to participate in ring games. The ring games are just 'organized' Action, so bring your wallet and you're in.

Well, we've actually got a lot of girls now, but more of the guys signing up now have trumped that. So, it's going to be a real good mix of both, but there's definitely going to be more guys when it's all said and done.

Everyone knows Jesse Bowman is the reigning champion of these River City Billiard Tour events, but he just told me that he unfortunately won't be able to make it.

There will still be other monsters there, but the champ won't be able to make it. I'm just making this known, cause I know a lot of people don't want to come and donate to Jesse normally.

So... anyone has a chance to come here and take the Crown. :D

BRING IT ON!!!
