Hi All,

I am having shoulder surgery Wednesday afternoon, so I will have this Meucci Olympian 97-31b up for sale till the end of Tuesday. If I get money sent via Paypal I will put it in the mail Wednesday morning - after that I do not know when it could ship. Because of this it is priced to sell: $460 shipped in COUSA.

It is used but very straight together and apart and sound. Has a few love dings in the wrap area, I tried to get a picture of the worst (not bad though). It also has a crack in the finish near the where the forearm starts, also a picture. But with that said, this is a really nice cue and hits great.

Butt: 15.52oz - straight
Red Dot Shaft: 3.93oz - straight
Ferrule & tip: ferrule is the standard Meucci material, maybe micarta. Tip is a new Wizard hard, which I installed.

These cues are still made and retail for about $1200 and sell on the internet for around $900+. I priced this to sell quickly at 1/2 the price of the best price available. If anyone is looking for this type of cue, please buy buy it.

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Wishing you the best of luck!

Dave,

Best of luck in the sale.
More importantly, I hope your surgery is a success and you recover well.

Obviously you should not have been fishing for piranha...they wreck shoulders all the time. On a positive note, I'll come up there on Thursday and we can play some one pocket....probably the only chance I have to win.

Hope your surgery is a success. Is it rotator cuff?

Best wishes,

Doug

Very funny! Possible rotator cuff repair because I have at least a partial tear, but the main surgery is to repair a "frozen shoulder" that has limited my movement for about 5 mos. The specialist will determine what needs to be done once he gets in there. I will be in a passive movement chair 6 hours a day for 3 weeks (1 hour at a time), maybe less if I start PT sooner, then it would be only 4 hours.

Sorry, no time for 1-pocket Thursday :). I really didn't want to mention my surgery but wanted to explain why the sale is for 1 day only.

Are you playing in the Midwest 9-ball tourney this weekend at Billiards Ink? I wish I could even come and sweat it but that dang chair will keep me from coming down.

Cheers,

Dave

I can't believe that a little rotator cuff surgery could keep you off the tables.
You can at least use your other arm to shlep a few cues down to Billiards Ink this weekend.

Seriously the whole situation sounds painful.
Tell them that you want a bionic arm.
Playing all of that 3-cushion when you were young must of been hard of the shoulder...

They are heavier you know ;):D.

I hope everyone knows that a Muecci isn't really a cue I usually own, but a guy I know loved a Schon I had and had no money (what a surprise!), just this cue, so I made a trade. Just trying to get my money out of it. I thought at this price someone would be interested. It really does play well and is perfectly straight...no issues w/this cue.
