Anyone using these or have experience with them? Considering adding them to my P/C router to dial in my live threading.

Well it looks like they don't make them for the smaller P/C laminate trimmer type routers.

Nope, I've got one of the larger ones sitting here because I'm an idiot and didn't know what I was ordering. If you need one of those, let me know instead of ordering it from them.

Thanks Tony. It is confusing, I almost did the same thing. It looks like they only have them for the big, 1/2" routers.

I would like to have one for my laminate trimmer, as well as a long thread mill. Anybody got a source?

According to Ron Reed when we talked last they dont make them for the laminate trimmers because those bearings are not very precise and you could not get the TIR of the router down to what he would like..

Tony,
If you did not need the collet setup why dont you just return it. Rons pretty easy to work with and as long as its unused and or undamaged I would not see why he would'nt take it back..

That is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish. I know now that I need a different , more precision router than the PC or the Kress.

Have you looked at the ER 8 series? I use them to hold all of my small tools. I get all of my machine tools from Chris Springer at Factory Outlet Tooling. I can get his contact info for you if you like. Great dude, knows his stuff, nobody can beat his prices. He can find any thread mill on the planet, or have one made for you for a reasonable price.

I'm sure I could have when I ordered it Joe, but that was well over a year ago. I've been using the Kress since then, which isn't very precise either, but it's a lot quieter than the Porter Cable. I don't use it for inlays, so I can live with it.

Do you guy think Bosh Colt router with a side mount will do the job on the quick change tool post? I want to set it up also.
